Older than Celtic- sounds right...My trilogies, "Newgrange birthplace of ancient mysteries" books I, II, and III that used to be bedtime stories to entertain my mother, began with pre-Christian ideas I believe are possibly ancient memories considering that my mom used to say, "Where are you getting that from? You should write a book!" So I've been writing 3.
The first one begins with the making and education of the people who became the Tuatha De Dannon, and book II ends with them coming down from the North and taking Ireland, their original homeland, back from invaders. They disperse, and book III is about a progeny in America fulfilling her destiny to travel back to Ireland to the megalith of her ancestors, Newgrange, and doing a thing that will save the world from total corruption.
