Ancients3

Here is a song for you written just for this book. Pre Christian European peoples did not fear death because they believed they would come back, sometimes through their own family lines.. Reincarnation  is a common reoccurring theme through out the book, and it all began when Heartha and Hu were frolicking about making everything there is ! They would simply close their eyes, say, "see you next round" and go to sleep. Death was a painless and gentle occurrence, leading to another life together.

The Ancients
 Melanie Korpi

And she knows how it feels to be alive,
She runs the hills, swims the seas, rides the trail
He's always there, always waiting
to light her way, warm her soul, without fail

Beyond what they see they remember
Where they're from, where all things came, how it began
Ever new, her mysteries unfolding
Womb to tomb, birth death, new man

Ahh, sweet is the feeling
To dance  the   fires  of  new beginning
Warriors battle on, bards  remember well the song
The tale of  ancient ones, re building
The ancients, re building

Time  is a mystery to the un awakened mind,
Through the infinite, unwinding   Spirals,  worlds revolving
Those born , find  the passage home
Patient waiters of time , life evolving

And she knows how it feels to  die
dreams the dream,  awaken whole , begin again
He's always there, always waiting
To bring her home, embrace her soul, it never ends

Ahh, sweet is the feeling
To dance  the  fires of new beginning
Warriors battle on, bards  remember well the song
The tale of  ancient ones, re building
We are the the ancients, re building

“Awaken” she whispers to me
Sing again with the voice of Mystery
For the secrets lay locked within the chambers
 of your deepest song!
